Inventories

The Government brought in new regulations in April 2007 to ensure

all deposits held under an Assured Shorthold Tenancy

Agreement are in protected schemes. It is therefore essential

you provide a full inventory and schedule of condition at the

start of the tenancy. If you do not provide one you will have no

proof of the condition and will not be able to claim for any

damages to the property at the end of the tenancy.

We therefore recommend you cover yourself and have an inventory drawn

up professionally.
